Perhaps the culprit wanted it to appear that they came out of a blue room and stepped in the yellow paint in front of Valmont's room; but in reality, they emerged from the green room and did it a different way. ...the logic does not cohere yet. Supposedly there were no prints made at all before we woke up. Still, I feel it must show us something.
