After the chaos of the trial and its aftermath, their tradition of the morbid "afterparty" almost seemed insulting... to everyone else, at least. Yasu is more than happy to provide.

The rest of the class might be drawn toward the cafeteria by the alluring scent of well-steeped black tea and baked goods. Inside, Yasu sips from her own cup, looking totaly composed by the tray of scones—sorry, everyone, cookies are a Kakuya-only privilege—and the teapot.

There are plates set out, too. Much more sophisticated than the mopey crackers, apples, and cheese everyone is used to.

nnnn, no, no, no... We need to stick together more than ever. We need to be a team. Being split apart only makes us weaker, doesn't it? They aren't monsters, either.

...I don't know how to squish Kakuya, but we all have to find a way. They're just... trying to go about it in a different way. See, everyone has strengths and weaknesses. I'm not good at swords or firing lasers from a robot arm, but... I'm really, really good at crowd control. I know how to get people away from danger.

But I'm also learning how to do more to the monsters back at Pure Heart Valley. Mao Mao and Badgerclops and me have come up with all sortsa team moves together that need all three of us to work.

[Adorabat pulls Anya into a hug.]

So... we just need to stick together.

What about Yasu?

She wants to keep her around. She wants to play this game.

...You know, after that first trial, I went to Yasu to talk to her and try to cheer her up. This is essactly like how she was acting. She was just giving up.

Anya is only giving up on...on people who want to hurt people. This is different. This is very different.

...I wanna hurt the prissipull. I wanna hurt all the sky pirates. Are you giving up on me?

Those aren't innocent people!!! Those aren't people who haven't done anything wrong!!! You don't want this game of killing to keep going on!

[Adorabat sighs. How can Adorabat convince Anya...?]

...Your daddy's a spy, right? Doesn't that mean he works with people that are doing wrong things? It may look like he's helping bad people, but he isn't. Cops don't need to lie, but spies do.

...And- And Badgerclops was a criminal, too...! But he's now a hero. If Badgerclops can be good, then so can Yasu!

[Anya sniffs. She misses him.]
