[Both of Emma's parents look surprised to have a bat yelling at them, her mom raising her hands placatingly, but Parker himself steps forward.]

I know, I know, I was just a little surprised! And Dad did beat up one of the scientists who sent Emma here!

I didn't beat him up, I just grabbed his collar and yelled at him a lot. They promised you two would be safe, after all. [He rubs his forehead.] It sounds like Emma handled herself pretty well here, I guess, even without Parker looking out for her. I've just had enough of being separated from her without even knowing what she's going through.

[Emma nods emphatically at her dad's comment.]

I-I just don't like to think of my Emma, or anyone, having to fight monsters at all. [Emma's mom wrings her hands.] We didn't know where she was-even that scientist didn't really know!

Mom yelled at him so much.

Well, I'm glad you guys were trying your best to find me. I was actually scared for you too, Parker!
