Reunions and Meetings

It's a couple of hours since the end of the torment. The eternal game is over. A Little Brother, a little run ragged, runs around the Academy and the depot telling anyone who will listen that something is happening. The Queen, a friend of theirs, is visiting. She contacted the sheep while everyone was busy. They explain that she, along with a group of children, will be coming to the depot to meet everyone. She also can help get those who want to go elsewhere, get there. The Queen, it seems, found a way to open doors to other worlds and times. This could be helpful to get home as well as bringing old faces to the depot, if not Closetland itself.

It takes about an hour but eventually a golden door opens on the deck of the platform. A young girl in full petticoats dressed in blue stands before everyone. Even if her smile is nervous at the sight of so many new people she gives a quick curtsy. She shrinks back shyly as she speaks as a few other children come out of the door, too.

"I'm Queen Alice. The sheepies tried contacting my castle and told me what happened. I'm... very sorry about what must have happened. As my friends will tell you, you don't have to worry about the castle or her--uh, Nursery Rhyme--anymore. She's not a King anymore. I'm just a kid like everyone here, um. My friends helped me make this body so I'm sorry if it's a bit surprising. Um. I can help you get home if you'd like..."

Queen Alice goes onto explain that she can open doors to any world your character wants to go to. She can also gently pull other people through doors if needed. The sheep add that the teleporter to Closetland won't allow them to go there. The Academy is for students and staff only, after all!

The residents of the Castle seem nice enough, at least. Maybe now is the time for new friendships after shared two very long grueling experiences? Perhaps you just want to return to a safe place.

Two stories end quietly in the middle of a dark but calm ocean.

Welcome to the reunion post of Round One and Round Two. Players who played in either round only, please. You may play or NPC castmates of fellow characters if you'd like, though! Please no bringing in of Round Zero NPCs, please. They preferred not to come. If your character has no place to return to or ever needs a place to rest, Alice will offer them a room at her Castle provided they behave themselves. Powers are on there unless trouble arises. [Bad monsters don't really care about having a family, so Adorabat lightens up and sticks a wing out for a handshake, staying in the air by only flapping a single wing.]

[Adorabat indicates the red blood slime.]

Oh... She's adorable! _{[He's going to do what he does best and unscrew his head unprompted and hold it in his hands in order to get a closer look!]}

I hadn't met any monsters like Slimy during my time at the castle... Well, I'm not sure whether or not Entei counts. _{[He's just continuing to yammer as he looks upon Slimy.]}

[Uh... uh. Adorabat will go ahead and, uh... reach out and... try poking the flat of the neck that's on the body...?]

_{[Adorabat can see the nub that his head screws onto. And when she pokes it...]}

AH!! _{[He lets out a surprised little noise as his hands instinctively reached to where his neck, dropping his head on the ground.]}

[Adorabat lets out a surprised noise of her own before just... awkwardly staring. For a moment. She eventually manages to turn to her other students.]

Are we sure Kakuya doesn't still have her powers anymore...?

Uh... A little help? _{[Seven's head calls as his body kneels down in an effort to find it.]}

[Adorabat looks between the head on the ground and the body, before glancing one last time at her fellow students.]

[She just... carefully picks up the head and plops it back on the neck stub.]

I'm not related to Kakuya, I only just heard of this person, actually. I was simply born this way.

Um... During one of Kakuya's games, we found a little spot where she made a thing of the castle y'all were at with drawings set up like a scene. Did y'all find the skewl set up like that somewhere?

Er, I didn't find one myself. Maybe the ones who lived found one? I've been dead for a week so I wouldn't know what they found. But we did find a letter from these kids calling themselves The Delightful Children from Down the Lane. I think Numbah One can tell you more about them.

Umm. I think I might know who you're talking about. I think we saw them in the playing card Heartscape. Were there five of them? One with a football helmet?

I think Numbah One told me something about one with a football helmet before we got here. Did they all talk in unison? And wear school uniforms?

We didn't hear them talk, but yeah! They were all wearing the same uniform. I can get the playing card for you to touch.

That must be them, but, yes, do go grab it if it will help! This is a solid lead! And I as a soon-to-be official Cadet for the Kids Next Door should notify my leader immediately once I can confirm it!

[Adorabat flies off, back to the skewl. It doesn't take too much time for Adorabat to return with the card. She holds it out.]
