Well! That was some tea party, huh? You've finally seen the faces (or perhaps the singular is more proper here?) of your captors. A pair of creepy twins seem to fit the overall theme of the Castle at least. Why not have Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum, after all?

Regardless, it doesn't seem that they're changing their minds any time soon. The first floor of the Castle is still open up to you. The Audience Hall is still locked most of the time so perhaps you can meet the Alices there if you need to. There are plenty of things to occupy your time before the inevitable slow erosion of your memories. If this is a game, who will make the first move? You or the twins?

[Cori immediately frowns when she enters the room, taking one step in before turning around. She comes back with a jar full of baking soda, which she starts scattering methodically over the floor. She also bends to take off her shoes and socks as she starts walking around, slowly soaking up all the butter while muttering under her breath.]

[Oh, well that's no fun. When Cori steps back in the room, she'll be immediately set upon by thrown silverware and what looks like half a stick of butter.]

Boo! What kind of show is this!

Boo!!! Modifying other people's traps is rude!

[ From the distance he can't see what kind of box she's brought back with her so it could be flour as well as baking soda. And seeing as the trap is already ruined, Natsuo will add in whatever food he can reach which turns out be scrambled eggs and random assorted fruit. ]

[This is actually pretty tame compared to some of the customers she's dealt with. She moves to catch the thrown stick of butter first, walking over to slap it back into the butter dish.]

Setting up traps like this is also rude, you know? And so is wasting food like this. [She walks over to check-alright, it's probably unsalvageable then.] Even if it does come out of nowhere. [Time to dump more baking soda on the butter. And also scoop up that thrown silverware and stick it on a higher-up shelf.]

[Have fun catching it, considering the butter was soft and goopy from being held and rubbed on the floor. Any sense of "tame" after the butter is thrown must be illusionary, as the table gremlins had thrown the silverware fairly accurately right at Cori.

The attempt at a lecture only gets another round of silverware, this time featuring pointier selections.]

It's rude to waste all of our work!

Blah-blah-blah, you're not Hitomi so don't even try to lecture us. You're way too flat too! [ They're fine with being rude apparently. Natsuo takes a second to supply Youji with the finer points of cutlery and then grasps around for something else of his own to retaliate with. This jar of honey should do the trick. He'll wait to see how she plans to address the assault of silverware and then adjust his aim down by her feet.

Glass shards and barefeet are a poor combination but so is baking soda and honey, but this is hell as already stated. ]

Okay. [Well then, she's just going to ignore them now. She uses one arm to knock mmost of the pointy cutlery aside before scooping it back up and placing it up on the shelf, ignoring the bits that actually do poke her. It's not as if she hasn't jabbed herself before.

As for the honey...well, she does see it coming and leap back, so at least her feet don't get poked. She dumps even more baking soda on top of it, then leaves to go get some paper to wrap it up. As promised, she's going to stop talking to them no matter what they say, simply working on cleaning up the dining hall.]

Hay! Don't ignore us!

[Starts whistling as she works.]

Boo!!! She's more of a party pooper than Soubi was when we first met.

[Hum de dum, off to get a mop and some soapy water. She starts cleaning up the part nearest the entrance first, continuing to whistle a cheerful, upbeat tune.]

She is, she is! At least he's quiet and boring, not loud and annoying.

[She keeps mopping around a bit, and eventually-time to mop under the table! So yeah, she's going to be shoving them around with the mop now. Not to mention she's dumped soapy water on the other end to make it easier for them to slide out.]
