WEEK 1

Well! That was some tea party, huh? You've finally seen the faces (or perhaps the singular is more proper here?) of your captors. A pair of creepy twins seem to fit the overall theme of the Castle at least. Why not have Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum, after all?

Regardless, it doesn't seem that they're changing their minds any time soon. The first floor of the Castle is still open up to you. The Audience Hall is still locked most of the time so perhaps you can meet the Alices there if you need to. There are plenty of things to occupy your time before the inevitable slow erosion of your memories. If this is a game, who will make the first move? You or the twins?

Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Saturday

((OOC: Welcome to peace week! There will be no case this week so just have fun and explore. If you want to investigate please put Investigation in your top level. Don't forget to put threads in for regains or go to the Audience Hall to meet the Alices.

Also, if you want to keep up to date on things we now have a discord server!))

[Interesting! What happens if she tries to scrape a small amount off with her fingernail from various surfaces as she touches them?]
littlebratziska: (there see she's right)

[Is she able to scrape away any material? If so, does it look or seem any different once it is no longer on the wall?]

[If she moves a flake that she's scraped off to a different material - say, a speck of "gold" onto a section of carved "ebony", does it take on the appearance of the material it's pressed against, or stay looking the same as what it was taken from?]

Is anything here real?

[If she presses hard against the material when it feels soft, is she able to leave a visible impression, for example a fingerprint?]
littlebratziska: (no you clearly did)

[Good to know! But entirely apart from all this a terrible thought has struck her, and that leads her to turn and race back to her room, where she pulls out every piece of clothing that has been provided her and tosses them over her bed, then goes over them with the same attention to detail.

Does her clothing look and feel as it should?]

[boy THAT'S a relief, but now that it has apparently been resolved she moves back into the hall, and then to the portrait gallery, where she steps close and delicately touches the canvas, peering at it very closely. Does it look and feel as it should?]

[This actually startles her, as if these were color morphin playdough too it would at least explain how they all got to be here so quickly, despite nobody sitting for them.

She doesn't stay long after testing that briefly, instead turning and moving outside, where she checks several plants, including the tree, the roses, and the hedges at the edge of the yard. Is there anything noticeably odd about the plants?]

[If she picks a flower petal, does anything about its appearance change?]

[She drops the petal and begins to look at the other plants. How many seem to be the same as this, covered with an illusion?]
littlebratziska: (really just look at her)

[Franziska knows almost nothing about flowers, but does take note of the ones that look a little strange.

Do the roses look too detailed, for what they should look like? Those at least she has seen fairly often, and is familiar enough with what they should look like.]

[That's... odd. Does the tree look odd?]
