Well! That was some tea party, huh? You've finally seen the faces (or perhaps the singular is more proper here?) of your captors. A pair of creepy twins seem to fit the overall theme of the Castle at least. Why not have Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum, after all?

Regardless, it doesn't seem that they're changing their minds any time soon. The first floor of the Castle is still open up to you. The Audience Hall is still locked most of the time so perhaps you can meet the Alices there if you need to. There are plenty of things to occupy your time before the inevitable slow erosion of your memories. If this is a game, who will make the first move? You or the twins?

[Amdi is still not used to being pet by people who aren't one of the literal three (3) human beings on his whole planet, so a full five of his other members turn to watch as you reach for the one you're petting, who sits very still. ]

[But the the pet happens and he remembers how wonderful it is to be pet and the petted member totally leans up into it and let's its little pointy tongue hang out a little and the rest of him try and cuddle up against your legs.]

She knew about this phenomenon but had never experienced it before.

[Several of Amdi continue to wiggle delightedly while another reaches with its very long neck to boop her other hand and demand double-barreled pets.]

[Meanwhile one of him breaks off and sits down in front of her and looks up at her with its head cocked rather cutely.]

Thank you for the pets! What's your name? I'm Amdi!

[This time the boyish voice does seem to come specifically from the bare patch of skin on this one's forehead. (He's trying to be polite and have a directional-sound conversation, it is a meeting after all.)]

[Aaaaah? This is incredibly cute and double petting happens immediately.]

I'm Dark Dream. You're cute, Amdi.

Hehe, thanks. [He ducks a couple of heads shyly]

Oh, right! I saw you up in the portraits. I wasn't sure if that was your real name though, it sounds a lot different from most of the other humans. Is it a taken name? I didn't think humans had those.

I don't think it's a normal name, but I'm not really a normal human.

[Just casually throwing that out there.]

[Several of his heads pop up in surprise, and he starts looking her up and down from every angle in obvious confusion.]

You're not?? Really? How are you different? [The pointy ears are a little too subtle for him to pick up on he only discovered like one year ago that sentient creatures exist who are not space doggos.]

I'm a copy. I was made, not born like regular humans.

[Also she has pointy ears but obviously those are just cute.]
