This was the first I'd heard of whatever that monster was...

[ He frowns, and after a moment's pause, decides to go ahead into his findings, since it seems like he might have gotten the most information. ]

I spoke with the cat a few days ago, while the Queen was asleep. I got a lot of new details, actually, but I'm not sure how many we can fit together into something that would help us yet.

[ He opens up his own notebook for reference before starting. ]

Regarding Cat Alice herself, I wanted to try to get some more information on her like we all discussed at the last meeting. I tried to find out her own wishes independent of Queen Alice, but she insisted that she was a mirror of whoever she served, with no "True Name" of her own, and that she shouldn't be able to have a wish of her own that differed from Alice's. She indicated that there was something she could be called -- that she wouldn't tell us, naturally -- but that it was different from a typical True Name like what Sajyou told us all about.

[ Skimming through his notes to make sure he's not leaving out anything important... ]

She said she was created by and for children, and mentioned a "little Tommy Thumb"?

[ Which doesn't mean anything to him, unfortunately. He shrugs. ]

Moving on to this world more generally -- she referred to it as "Closetland" [ which sounds like some Narnia shit to him ] and said that adults couldn't exist here at all, and that was why they had to play this game with children -- that she'd tried bringing in adults to kill each other instead, but they either couldn't get in at all or would die immediately upon arrival. She created the castle within this world, but she didn't create the world itself, and other things exist outside of it. Supposedly there are literal monsters outside, like dragons and werewolves, and it sounded like this wasn't where she would have chosen to set this all up, but that for some reason, it was the only option she had.

[ Flipping back a few pages now since he's presenting this out of order... ]

Finally, those rooms we unlocked... she confirmed that there was another round of the same game before this one, and that there were 31 players at the time, all of whom are now gone -- I don't know what that means for the ones who must have been in our rooms before us. I asked if they were "staying with them in the castle" like they'd described it to us, but she said they'd broken too many rules and were all "disqualified" from staying here. I'm not sure what that means, but it doesn't sound good.

And I don't know if... that means Ib is going to end up disqualified in the same way.

[ Exhales and closes his notebook. Sorry, that was A Lot. ]
