End of the Tale

It's... over. Mostly, anyway. A decision has reluctantly been made by the group about the doll that started this mess and it seems that, perhaps, it's time to at least get a grip on what's going to come next. Not just for you but for everyone here. Nanami has cleared the way to the Academy and the Little Brothers are there to lend hands if needed against any stray monsters.

Take a deep breath of sea air. It's been a stressful seven weeks but maybe you'll be able to put all this behind you for good soon. It might take days, weeks, months, or even years yet... It's a small comfort but when the night comes it's a moonless night.

It seems the game of the Kaguya Doll is truly over for good.

I have all of my powers with my spirit partner again. And my furyoku has increased after Kakuriyo. If I focus on nothing else, I can resurrect the dead four times!

Can you still do that if there's no remains left?

No. But I can heal continuously to prevent that from happening! I also summon guillotines and cages.

We're up against someone who's power can instantly kill someone without leaving behind remains. There isn't even time to heal - they're just...

Plus he doesn't even seem to have a physical body anymore. I don't know if he's a spirit or something beyond even that, but he's seriously bad news.

[There's a certain gravitas his voice hasn't had this whole time - he knows just too much of what Hirose is capable of, and yet somehow still not enough.]

It's nice of you to offer, but... I don't even know if he can be beaten.

If it's a spirit, then maybe an Oversoul Weapon more like the other X-Laws had will be more effective. Or – by seeing the spirits of those who have already been annihilated by him, I will find you some kind of clue!

[She really does have quite a few abilities, but if this is his battle to fight... If this is his enemy... ...well, that makes her think about Reika's decision, but this isn't the time...]
