TWO TALES END (Golden Ending)
Reunions and Meetings
It's a couple of hours since the end of the torment. The eternal game is over. A Little Brother, a little run ragged, runs around the Academy and the depot telling anyone who will listen that something is happening. The Queen, a friend of theirs, is visiting. She contacted the sheep while everyone was busy. They explain that she, along with a group of children, will be coming to the depot to meet everyone. She also can help get those who want to go elsewhere, get there. The Queen, it seems, found a way to open doors to other worlds and times. This could be helpful to get home as well as bringing old faces to the depot, if not Closetland itself.
It takes about an hour but eventually a golden door opens on the deck of the platform. A young girl in full petticoats dressed in blue stands before everyone. Even if her smile is nervous at the sight of so many new people she gives a quick curtsy. She shrinks back shyly as she speaks as a few other children come out of the door, too.
"I'm Queen Alice. The sheepies tried contacting my castle and told me what happened. I'm... very sorry about what must have happened. As my friends will tell you, you don't have to worry about the castle or her--uh, Nursery Rhyme--anymore. She's not a King anymore. I'm just a kid like everyone here, um. My friends helped me make this body so I'm sorry if it's a bit surprising. Um. I can help you get home if you'd like..."
Queen Alice goes onto explain that she can open doors to any world your character wants to go to. She can also gently pull other people through doors if needed. The sheep add that the teleporter to Closetland won't allow them to go there. The Academy is for students and staff only, after all!
The residents of the Castle seem nice enough, at least. Maybe now is the time for new friendships after shared two very long grueling experiences? Perhaps you just want to return to a safe place.
Two stories end quietly in the middle of a dark but calm ocean.
OOC
Welcome to the reunion post of Round One and Round Two. Players who played in either round only, please. You may play or NPC castmates of fellow characters if you'd like, though! Please no bringing in of Round Zero NPCs, please. They preferred not to come.
If your character has no place to return to or ever needs a place to rest, Alice will offer them a room at her Castle provided they behave themselves. Powers are on there unless trouble arises. She's a bit sensitive after being drafted into being a murdergame accomplice, after all.
We hope you enjoy yourselves and this will be the final post for round 2 of Castle Whimsical. Thank you, everyone!

You need not fear, students of Ira Academy, we are....
[Hang on. The kids here don't look like they're trapped and in danger.
After a moment she scowls, then walks briskly to the nearest stranger, standing as tall as she can, and glares over.]
You! Explain this!

We beat up Kakuya and turned her into a fox!
[Context, Adorabat.]

O-oh. I see. Well done.
[She, however, is determined to be useful, or at least to take the credit for being useful, which means she needs to act like she's in charge here. So, after a moment of being very flustered, she regains her composure.]
And.... and did you take proper measures to contain this fox? For, after all, as everyone knows, foxes are renowned for their extreme cleverness.

[She is missing all the information she needs for any of this, but she's getting caught up in it now.]

Oh... S- sorry.
Apparently, we've been in this skewl for months while we were brainwashed. Then about siz weeks ago, Kakuya broke us all out of the mind control. A week went by until the dumb prissipull revealed himself and changed the rules to try and make us all kill each other, saying motives every Tuesday. Then, every Friday, we found a person dead and had to paticiptate in trials to find out who the killer was. Things went on this way until Kakuya threw the prissipull into the slammer, where all the other monsters were being held and took over the trials and motives herself.
Then we've managed to find out a lot about her through a staff-only room. Don't worry, I'm a cop and made a warrant. And we found out about the belief magic. We tried using the photos of her daddy to distract her in order for some people to try and bring the dead back to life, but she tepeported us into this building and turned into this cool giant monsters and then we all fought her hands until we knocked her out.
Then we met up with everyone who died and they argued on what to do with Kakuya for like three hours and now, she's a fox and everyone's alive again!

I didn't expect anyone as young as you to understand how important the justice system is. Most fools dismiss things like that when they're pressed, but you made certain to act only with the proper authority. There are others who could learn a thing or two from that way of doing things!
no subject
Yeah! I mean... what good is a sheriff that doesn't follow the rules? I just wish corrupt cops weren't a thing but I can always beated them up and let a good cop take their place.
Are you a cop, too?

[Well, she hasn't passed the bar quite yet, but Franziska will similarly decline to mention that.]
I am, in fact, the daughter of the genius prosecutor, Manfred von Karma. As should be obvious, when I am so professional already.
no subject
Oooooooh, okay!
...What's a prosecutor? Something like the guards of a king, or...?

Uh? Don't... the sheriffs throw people into the slammer? I mean, that's what King Snugglemagne says we're apposed to do. Me, Mao Mao, and Badgerclops.

[???????]
I mean... we hand out arrest warrants and fines and such. Is that what you mean?
no subject
No! That's only part of it! The rest of due process is when the criminals who are caught by the police have the right to a trial where the evidence against them can be presented and considered! And, if the prosecutor is worth their title, they will easily be able to crush any opposition and prove the defendant's true guilt!!

Wooooooow...

Uh, we were brainwashed for six months-might've been sent here by our worst enemies? Then got brought out of it by a haunted doll who wanted to turn things into a deadly game, the Principal went with it. Then I think she overthrew him and trapped him in a box, made things worse-also she somehow became girlfriends with Yasu-but then they beat her up and now she's a fox and they're going to another world together to see if she can learn empathy.
Also everyone that died is back alive.
[He...thinks that's everything?]
no subject
I see.
[She does not see.]
Hmph. It sounds as though the students here had a similarly harrowing experience to the one that we had before.
no subject
[what]
Were we just-going through the exact same thing at the exact same time?!
no subject
[But then, just as Dylan might start to calm down-]
We were trapped in a castle by Nursery Rhyme, until the survivors were able to overthrow her. Or so I've heard. I was... one of the dead at that time. However, I am still certain that my positive example was a key to our eventual victory!
no subject
[Like??? LIKE???????]
The only differences are the place, who was behind, and the fact that you probably didn't have to deal with a sentient doll during your nightmare!
no subject
[Franziska, that explains nothing.]

A foolish mind also says things are different when they are scarily similar. Especially when the people behind these things seem like they're two of the seven kings of this place.
[Is he assuming Nursery Rhyme is a king? Yes. Did Franziska also state that her incident happened in a castle, the exact place you'd expect a king to be in? Also yes!]
