[ The trial itself may have been pretty straightforward, but with how high emotional tensions were running afterward, there's probably no one feeling like organizing any kind of gathering right now.

So, go do your thing until a new week starts, and write down those memories you don't want to forget. ]

[ Gilgamesh was in the library, with a book in his hands. He'll turn to face Neku when he peeked in, though, noticing the movement out of the corner of his eye. ]

Are you looking for someone or something?

I mean, in the wild made-up scenario where she knows enough about all this to be disappointed, I figure she'd have the lowdown.

[ She looks at the shattered necklace, instead of looking at Seven. ]

Look, I get that you can't not be huge, and you can't not be angry. What she did sucked. But you could literally have killed someone if they got in the way of that outside a trial room.

[ Especially... the tiny duck... ]

Don't worry, though. I think it's a good idea if we're not really married to the idea of following the orders of a terrible Queen, but...I don't think it was his intention to come off as treating it just like a 'game'?

Our hands have been kind of forced, I think, so when he mentioned that your concept of justice didn't matter in a 'game' like this; it's just that those two wouldn't really care about it.

[ Gilgamesh will then shift his expression to something thoughtful, though. ]

I really don't think he was being foolish, either, and I don't think your reaction was all that reasonable. He's been trying hard in his own way...just like you have. So, can you do me a favor and try not to hit him again? I'd prefer it if you and him and everyone else could start working together again, after all.

[There's a lot to consider in the wake of the...the everything, and with her head ringing to terribly, so emptily, Oriko finds herself with yet another headache.

She doesn't expect many people to want to venture into the garden after Violet was discovered there - and, in fact, will be surprised to encounter anyone else who happened to venture there. In solemn silence, she stays out there for a while, attention half-devoted to rereading her book now that Nigel has returned it to her.

Rarely, though every so often throughout the afternoon, she'll return to her old haunt, the stairwell, though she won't stay long, only trotting up the stairs to inspect the surroundings, looking for a hint of anything that might have changed, before returning to the first floor yet again.

Finally, much later, when Friday's almost completely gone, anyone walking around the private bedrooms might hear some low noises coming from the supposedly-unoccupied Room 26. It seems someone might have left the television on, and the door can't lock at the moment, so...]

[ He'll blink and then tilt his head. ]

Oh. You're checking in on everyone because you're worried after everything that happened...?

Hm. Yeah, I guess so.

[A few weeks (or months? his lost memory is making the timeline shakey) he would have denied it, but it seems pointless now]

I know this and it scares me too! [He lashed out, but there wasn't a hint of anger in his voice.]

...If it makes you all feel safe... I'll stay in my room and not come out. I know that it makes me feel just as safe... [He turned to exit the room.] ...Tell everyone I'm sorry.

Y-You did your best! It's... too late for regrets now, isn't it? We have to keep on going forward.

Honestly? There probably wasn't any way to avoid something big and stupid happening. Kids throw tantrums.

[ She feels the weight of the amulet over her heart, and she looks off to the side. ]

He's gonna regret it if she comes back, though.

What? No, that doesn't make me feel safe, it makes me feel like you're punishing yourself for no reason—

[ But if he insists on leaving regardless, she's just going to yell: ]

Yeah. That's what I was trying to avoid but I didn't really have the right to NOT give it back.

He'll smile and put aside the book for the moment. ]

Well, I don't mind.

Even if I'm doing better than the others, it's nice to have company. But, I think they'll appreciate it too? When they realize, that is.

Superglue probably isn't gonna cut it. But Cori was magic, or whatever, so if we keep the pieces she might be able to do it herself.

[ Unless it happens to be, like, the source for that magic, in which case they truly done goofed. ]

... or we could ask one of the Alices. Personally speaking, hard pass.

She leans lightly on Franziska and watches quietly for a while.]

I don't wanna owe them a favor either. They'd probably ask for a memory or something if we did, especially if it IS magic crap.

It's still kinda blowing my mind that magic is a thing- but I mean, dumb psychic powers exist in my world apparently so I can't really act all high and mighty about it.

[She started smiling weakly at "not your dad". It's been a long day. She turns the pumpkin as if that will give her another perspective to look at.]

Back at the meeting when we talked about it for the first time... I thought I had come to terms with it. Then I was preparing to send Cori to her death, and all of a sudden I'm not supposed to accept that? I know I shouldn't even have bothered Franziska, but...!

I didn't want to back down if the group needed me, but I guess you know by now why I'm not very qualified to be a leader, so we should talk about it. I'm abnormal.
