WEEK 3

All three deaths last were tragic in their own ways. Was trust so fragile in that castle that a simple misunderstanding could end in blood? It seemed to be the case. The trial proved that without a doubt. Surely no one else would make that mistake again. As another week begins the tea cup elevator has granted access to a new area. Maybe the new amusements of a festival will ease your wounded hearts?

Well, at I guess that's something to trade for them, anyway.

[She smiles at that, both the mask and his reaction; perhaps she almost grins.

As horrible as this place can be, maybe it's not wholly worse than it is at home.]

...Well, I like that hat. [He picked up said lovely hat and placed it upon one of his horns.] It even fits! How does it look?

[She blinks up at him through the mask, then bites her lip, seeming amused.]

It is a little small. And besides, if your head were to fall off, you would surely lose this too!

Perhaps you could tie it in place with a ribbon instead...?

Hm... That's true. [He took the hat off.] I'll definitely try to find a way. Maybe if there's some tape around here. [He wondered where he could get that.]
