WEEK 4

Even as the castle--is it even right to consider as a 'castle'?--continues to grow more accessible more of the group is whittled away. Even your own memories fade as the Alices continue their 'game'. As the new nautically themed area opens new residents of the castle seem to have appeared. A family of living dolls has moved themselves into the dining hall while a lovesick apple tree familiar from Friday seems to have taken root in the garden. Along with the graveyard in floor three the Alices seem to want you to remember your fallen friends in some very... different ways.

Maybe the upcoming holiday will distract the Alices from moving their game along? Only time will tell.

[Ouch, Garfield is great! The Cat stands up then clutches her back.]

Oh no, I threw my back out!

[The Cat stands aside, putting back on the sunglasses and then taking on Nigel's persona again:] Numbah Mizuki, you're... getting old! Only teenagers and older people hurt their backs!

[Off with the sunglasses and she has... a yellow scarf? It's time for Nagisa, it seems.]

Nigel, don't be ridiculous. That's just because she didn't stretch before hand. If any of you actually did your homework you would have known that.

[Then the Cat's on the throne. With... a GameChild? It looks like the final team leader, Yuniko, is on the chopping block next.]

Are you losers done? All this bickering is going to make me lose my high score. Makes me wonder why I even joined you idiots.

[battlestations]

Oh come on, you just look desperate now!

[FOUR ON TWO ISN'T A FAIR FIGHT!!1]

[The Queen scoots away a little to give the Cat a bit more room to to put her heels on the edge of the throne. She's laughing her head off, though.]

Yeah? Not as desperate as you!

[She's practically laying down on the throne with the GameChild held above her.]

Hmm. Makes sense that a Cat that spends half its time pretending to be a human would be a mimic. Totally creepy.

[She seems a little entertained, though? Even if she just scoffs about it.]

Two things: I wouldn't lose a high score over something this stupid anyway, and I've never bothered to wonder because there's no point putting me on the same level as the rest of these bozos.

[Back to the Alice voice. Apparently that was annoying enough to catch her. But then it's beck to Yuniko.]

Too bad that you're still on level one in the castle.

Why would you make a big deal about the game's beginning and end and pacing where you still don't get experience by now?

[Good thing Mizuki doesn't have to dwell on any of the very unpleasant implications Niko has made, because the Cat is actually a really easy target all of a sudden!]

Besides, you've admitted you're a way older person dressing up like a kid, and that's even creepier.

[Okay, that makes her drop her act.]

Excuse you! It's not creepy. If I'm a spirit created by children it's only natural.

Sometimes... I've let people do things and that didn't make them okay.

[Mizuki is very clear and deliberate about that. Unyielding in her attempt at the levelheaded guardian.]

But she's supernatural. Fine, then, whatever.

When no one can see you and you want a friend... the only one you can imagine for company is yourself.

[The Queen actually is a bit upset about that being the sticking point.]

Usually we're like the same person. It'd be like saying Amdi was weird for having multiples of himself.
