Even as the castle--is it even right to consider as a 'castle'?--continues to grow more accessible more of the group is whittled away. Even your own memories fade as the Alices continue their 'game'. As the new nautically themed area opens new residents of the castle seem to have appeared. A family of living dolls has moved themselves into the dining hall while a lovesick apple tree familiar from Friday seems to have taken root in the garden. Along with the graveyard in floor three the Alices seem to want you to remember your fallen friends in some very... different ways.

Maybe the upcoming holiday will distract the Alices from moving their game along? Only time will tell.

We still have a duty to keep moving forward.

I... I don't know.

It already feels bad. Seeing people die... knowing they killed someone.

It does. In the end, we are also condemning them to death, but...it's for the sake of protecting everyone else.

This is for Alice's sake, she says, for both of theirs. I truly believe she began the game, however long ago, with that goal.

Making a wish here means making others pay for it, too. It's not fair.

It isn't. I'm not certain, but I don't think she knows any other way to get what she wants.

Even if there was another way, the Cat probably wouldn't say anything.

No, I don't think she would, either. It's already difficult enough for her to keep Alice playing by the rules. And...she's probably used to Alice agreeing with her without fail.

I think she gets mad when Alice likes us more than her, too.

It must be difficult for her. The operation is to obtain more friends for Alice-san, but Alice-san is the only friend she needs.

If she was nicer, maybe she'd have more friends too.
