FIFTH TRIAL

Is everyone finished? Good. It's time for a trial.

[The ride to the court room is uneventful this time. There's no breaking of bones or porcelain when you land. The podiums are rather empty, especially now that there's only twenty portraits even if there's twenty one podiums still. Huh. Fancy that! It's almost as if the Storyteller was still bitter.

Though, there definitely feels something off about the court room. It sort of feels like you're being watched but you're not sure.]

Seven is Dead. Time to find out who's responsible. Time for a trial!

Hm... maybe he brought his own stuffed animal to play with the others or something, and was trying to watch that, then? That's his, isn't it?

[ Gestures toward the plush DD is holding. ]

...I mean, that seems sort of ridiculous, but...

[Tilting his head.]

Did someone steal it from him to lure him out?

That's possible. [ ... ] Ah- maybe that's what the mess in his room was. He could have been looking for it himself, right?

[Nodding.]

So then he left to try to find it. ...I don't think he'd keep wandering around after he found it, so maybe he got caught in the trap after that?

Plus, it would be hard for anyone left to carry his body, get it stuck in a trap, and then drop a tree on it. ...Right?

Right... He probably didn't find it before he got caught in the trap, though, right? It sounds like the toy was still in the zoo cage. So there's still the question of when his head ended up there, then.
