Post-Trial I Afterparty

[They're down two of their number, and who knows how many more will follow, but for tonight at least... They have a chance to rest.

The school has already been cleaned, leaving no signs of the deaths that occurred on this very day, but that's just as well. After looking around to make sure of that much, Yuta marches into the kitchen and, after a bit of looking around, ends up gathering some snacks: boxed crackers and apple slices that aren't perfectly even in cut but look, he's not the chef of his group, he did his best. These he sets out on some plates in the cafeteria before finding his usual seat to lounge in, eating some apple slices off of a smaller plate he grabbed just for himself.

And then, he waits - to see who trickles in, and who doesn't.

[After a few minutes, Adorabat comes flying in with a black marker. She opens it and writes something on the wall.

She then sets a book down under the name.]

[Emma walks over to look at it, before turning to sign.]

I only talked to her the once and she mentioned the book. Later, I got it out of the machine. I never got to read it.

[Oh...Emma kneels down to place a hand on it as well.] It looks interesting. I wish she could have gotten it back...

[There's a pause, before:]

You're not ACTUALLY going to arrest Koishi, are you?

Yeah! She stole something and Mao Mao said that stealing is wrong!

We don't even have any proof the turtle was Valmont's! And he was going to kill it! Don't heroes save innocent creatures from being killed?

Well, yeah! But... do we have any proof it isn't Valmont's? He said he'd sell it, right? What if I buy it off of him?

Well...when someone is kidnapped, do you pay the ransom, or try to get them back without paying the kidnapper money? I think that's how Koishi sees this.

[Adorabat flutters off... only to return a moment later, looking sheepish.]
