Well! That was some tea party, huh? You've finally seen the faces (or perhaps the singular is more proper here?) of your captors. A pair of creepy twins seem to fit the overall theme of the Castle at least. Why not have Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum, after all?

Regardless, it doesn't seem that they're changing their minds any time soon. The first floor of the Castle is still open up to you. The Audience Hall is still locked most of the time so perhaps you can meet the Alices there if you need to. There are plenty of things to occupy your time before the inevitable slow erosion of your memories. If this is a game, who will make the first move? You or the twins?

...But, anyway, I shall continue drawing!!

[He places his head next to the paper, his body still continuing to draw autonomously. First, a square head, horns, fur jutting out from the four cornets...]

Hmmmm... I wonder how I should draw Three... [He never pondered that with One or Two... there's gotta be something up with Three then.]

[This is still happening.

...If he didn't know better, he'd think he were still in the Dream.]

What does Three look like?

Oh, it's not so much his body as it is his clothes... Every day he's someone different. He can be an artist, a doctor, a cowboy, a pirate... I can go on! But no matter who he is he's very, very smart!

Oh... so he dresses up a lot?

He even takes on different names. Captain Three, Pablo Pistachio, Sigmund Threed...

He sounds like Joshua...

Oh! Is he a friend of yours? [He put his head back on because he felt saucy.]

[Nodding.]

Yeah, he's from the facility. He lies a lot, so when I first met him, he gave me a bunch of different names. And he comes up with a lot of really crazy stories.

[But he's smiling, fond.]

He likes playing pranks on everyone. But he's not a bad person.

Well, that's good... I don't think Three's ever lied before. He just loves the attention that comes with his changes. [Humming away, he went on to his fourth drawing.] You mentioned a facility, what was it like?

The facility is out in the forest and away from the city. A bunch of us kids live there with Teacher.

There's me, Letty and Rick, Chelsy, Joshua, and Stella. We each have our own room except for Letty and Rick, who share. We're supposed to stay in our rooms whenever it's time to study, but the rest of the time is freetime, so we can do whatever we want as long as we stay close to the facility. Teacher gives us work so we can keep up with studies, but he also buys us clothes or books or whatever we ask for.

...It's nice. I like being there with everyone.

I'm glad that's so. It's always good to get along with those you live with. [He had finished up the fourth drawing. A fuzzy dragon-like monster with a top hat... It almost felt like a joke but Seven was a bit too honest.]

[xxxx_me]

Yeah. That's why... I don't want to forget them, too.

[It's now that he turns back to his little notepad, taking up a pen again.]

Oh, well, why don't you tell me about your friends for a bit! [He'd been hogging this toboggan for a good bit...]

Oh! ...I guess I haven't yet, huh?

[Hmmm...]

Letty and Rick share a room because... [A pause. And then:] They're brother and sister. Letty's really energetic and talks so fast, sometimes it's hard to keep up. Rick's more serious, and he always keeps everyone else in line.

I had a feeling they were related. It just seems like siblings are always destined to sleep in the same bedroom. [He can attest, him and his siblings do that.]

[xxxx_me]

Yeah. Rick wants to make sure he can look after Letty, so...

[He smiles, but it's a sad one.]

...Next to them is Chelsy. She's really shy, so she has a hard time speaking up, but she's kind and gentle, too. She has lots of stuffed animals in her room - I was surprised when I first walked inside.

Aww... [He can really relate to that!!] She sounds like a darling.

She's really sweet. She always wears red... when I first met her, she reminded me of little red riding hood.

[And then he saw her World...

...]

Next to her is Joshua. Like I said, he lies a lot, but he's fun to play with. Rick... isn't always around to play with, so I usually spend time with Joshua.

[He. took that bit of silence to mean there was. something very not good.]

Actually, when you talk about Joshua's lying habit, I remember there was a point in time where Two pretended to be sick or injured to get attention, but then he actually wound up getting hurt.

When I was an even littler monster, I once read a story to Mr. Stripey-Pants. The Boy Who Cried Wolf... That's why I never lie about the same thing twice.

[That gives him another pause before he begins again, words carefully chosen:]

Yeah. I think Joshua likes getting attention, too. That's probably why he keeps coming up with stories to surprise everyone.

But he's a good person. I really do believe that.

Well... I believe in his goodness, too. Besides, if no one ever told tall tales, we'd have much less stories to tell.

[Nod.]

Yeah.

Anyway, the last one is Stella. She's...

[Hmmm...]

She's even quieter than Chelsy. I haven't really talked to her much. But... she really likes to play piano. You can hear it sometimes from outside of her room.

Oh... Does she fare well at the facility? I've nearly cooped myself up in my room some days this week because I was so sad.

She doesn't spend a lot of time with the rest of us... but I think she's okay that way. [Another pause.] And I know she prefers people at the facility more than people from outside of it.
