There's one thing that belongs in Closetland: Monsters.

It was a monster that brought the students here to begin with, and it's a monster who controls their lives now. By now, some have even accused their classmates of turning into--or always being--monsters themselves.

The academy is just as cold as it was last week, autumn air seeping in through the unfriendly architecture and the artificial light seeming darker than before. The occasionally cloud of purple fog snakes through the hallways at ground level, a constant reminder of the new presence haunting the school and her role in the past five weeks of torment. Now that Kakuya is back in a body of her own making, the music room is silent, though the rooms and halls of the Academy themselves occasionally fill with a low, haunting flute melody. With the school's new overlord already wishing her ill, Nanami's already deflating power and free roam capabilities are more or less completely limited as well: She's just one more toy in the box.

The stairwell has opened into another new floor. Upon closer inspection, it seems to be the uppermost one. This is the top of Ira Academy, and while it likely bears some new answers and some new locations to try and find a solution to your plight, is there anything that can heal some of the rifts that formed from the accusations thrown at the last trial? Still, if you don't find answers, then you'll be here playing this eternal deadly game.

Welcome to Week 4! Nanami has joined the party! She no longer has office hours but still be contacted privately, as can Kakuya, who is no longer stuck in the music room. New locations are now open, and some minor adjustments have been made to the IC profiles and rules. Please hit the mods with a ping in Discord and put INVESTIGATE in your subject line if you're interested in exploring a new location. The SHEEP are still taggable, though you may find them in a...different mood.

You now have a week to make sure your AC in for last week and to start collecting AC for this week. Remember to submit your regains, and sign up for a spot exploring this week's mystery if you want to!

[This area is clear but… there has to be a way to translate the machine somewhere in the Academy even if you can’t find it now. It would be useless to everyone otherwise, wouldn’t it?]

[Adorabat will make a note in her notebook to keep on the lookout for a thing that would help her understand all of this gobbledygook. Time for the science lab! It shouldn't take her any time at all to get to it. Anything immediately noticeable?]

[Sadly, no. Not immediately. There is something… new… though? Is that blood oozing into the room?]

Aha! THERE YOU ARE!

[Adorabat goes closer to the blood. Not too close. Did it have the same malevolent feeling as the last time she was in here?]

[It does but it’s not as strong. It feels as if this lump of blood is just a small part of whatever that was.]

[Well, then. Adorabat lands a couple feet from it and waits. Anything happening? Crawling toward her? Any movement at all?]

[It does slowly turn around and crawl towards you, kind of like a slug. Made out of blood.]

[Backing away a little bit.]

...Um, hello...? Can you... can you understand me, mister blood...?

[It stops then shakes it's.. little.. head (?) up and down. Yes.]

[Adorabat pokes her wings together.]

Um... are you angry at me...?

[The little blood slime shakes it's head. 'No?']

[...This is so weird. Adorabat's talking to a MONSTER. No, not just that, a sentient glob of blood.]

...Are you going to hurt me?

[Another shake. ‘No.’]

[Adorabat blinks. She hesitates for a long moment, then will approach a little, holding out a wing for the blood glob to touch.]

[It pauses and just kind of headbutts her wing. Like a cat.]

[Uh... Adorabat tries... petting it...?]

[It… does a weird purr. Then backs up and… tries to point at itself?]

[Adorabat blinks.]

...I have no idea what that means.

[She sighs and sits down.]

I used to think that all monsters were bad back at home. I mean... they are, but... A lot of people here would keep defending monsters. And now, I don't know what to think anymore. Sonic said a real monster is so selfish about what they want that they don't even care about other people.

...Do you have someone you care about?

[The blood slime listens and nods yes. It’s very happy to motion that it does.]

Huh...? Who?

[It… tries to draw out an outline of a child with its blood slime.]

Umm, a kid? Do you know where they are right now?

[It takes a little bit but the following is written out in sloppy letters:

Grew up :( Couldn’t see me anymore so left couldn’t find another kid but after long time five kids told me they could help so came here got very hungry then woke up here in strange room

four kids almost got ate left]

[Five kids... then four kids...? Adorabat takes out the class photo, the one including Nanami and Ao. She points to Ao.]

Was this one of those kids? And what do you mean the child couldn't see you anymore?

[The slime shakes it’s head then points at… you, Jeanne, Dewey, and Dylan. All four that investigated the blood mystery. Then it writes out:

when kids grow up they don’t have ‘imaginary friends’ anymore]
