WEEK FIVE

There's one thing that belongs in Closetland: Monsters.

It was a monster that brought the students here to begin with, and it's a monster who controls their lives now. By now, some have even accused their classmates of turning into--or always being--monsters themselves.

The academy is just as cold as it was last week, autumn air seeping in through the unfriendly architecture and the artificial light seeming darker than before. The occasionally cloud of purple fog snakes through the hallways at ground level, a constant reminder of the new presence haunting the school and her role in the past five weeks of torment. Now that Kakuya is back in a body of her own making, the music room is silent, though the rooms and halls of the Academy themselves occasionally fill with a low, haunting flute melody. With the school's new overlord already wishing her ill, Nanami's already deflating power and free roam capabilities are more or less completely limited as well: She's just one more toy in the box.

The stairwell has opened into another new floor. Upon closer inspection, it seems to be the uppermost one. This is the top of Ira Academy, and while it likely bears some new answers and some new locations to try and find a solution to your plight, is there anything that can heal some of the rifts that formed from the accusations thrown at the last trial? Still, if you don't find answers, then you'll be here playing this eternal deadly game.

Welcome to Week 4! Nanami has joined the party! She no longer has office hours but still be contacted privately, as can Kakuya, who is no longer stuck in the music room. New locations are now open, and some minor adjustments have been made to the IC profiles and rules. Please hit the mods with a ping in Discord and put INVESTIGATE in your subject line if you're interested in exploring a new location. The SHEEP are still taggable, though you may find them in a...different mood.

I wanted big bro to teach me, but we got distracted with him teaching me first aid instead.

[Adorabat lands next to the deceased doll corpse and begins looking it over, noting the "blood", the knife, the rope, the half-eaten chili dog, and the water.]

Um, where do I start first?

Well, the first and best thing to do is to check the body for marks. Make sure to check it all over and note what you find.

[violence_ensues]

Hmm...

[Adorabat will check the front of the body first.]

...We can't check for shoes, the legs are missing.

[Because that's the first thing Adorabat checked.]

A knife is stuck in him and a jumprope around his neck... And he's a little wet.

[Adorabat carefully jifts the doll up. Anything notable on the back of the doll?]

[Huh.

There's definitely a stab wound on the back of Sanic. One that looks like it bled a lot.]

There's a stab wound on the back of you! -of the doll! I think that's what killed him!

[Come on, Adorabat. You didn't check anything else!]

You think that killed him? Ya sure? Poor guy has a looot of stuff happenin' there.

Oh. It's wrong, then? Umm...

[Adorabat gently places the body back and will examine the jumprope closer. In that she carefully tries untying it.]

[Oh snap, there's "blood" on the rope as she unwraps it and it gets closer to poor Sanic's neck!]

[Wound noted! Hmm... Where exactly is the Sanic doll wet?]

[Well, he's wet all over his front in particular. It's definitely...weird. Especially with the chili dog nearby.]

[Yeah, about that chili dog... Did Sonic eat part of it? Wait! EAT! Adorabat checks the mouth of the Sanic doll.]

[There are indeed chili stains on poor Sanic's mouth!


It doesn't smell suspicious though, nor does the chili dog itself.]

[violence_ensues]

[Adorabat... thinks that's all from what he can see from the doll. She makes some thinky noises.]

...Maybe... The doll was eating one of your tasty-but-not-quite-as-tasty-as-Mao-Mao's-food Chili dogs and then... hmm... Maybe the throat was cut open? But there's a wound in the back and not much blood in the front... Wait, what if the back stab wound was the first wound, but didn't kill him, the throat cut did.

The killer maybe... um... Maybe the killer used some water to clean off most of the blood, then used the jump rope to hide the neck wound, then stabbed him in the front.

...I think. That's what makes sense to me.

[Adorabat gets a happy.]

Yeah. And if push comes to shove, and for whatever reason I can't, y'know...investigate.

[Like, for example, if he is in fact the body for realsies next time.]

You can check the body out if there is one.
