THIRD INVESTIGATION

There was a party on the night of the first murder, wasn't there? That time it had been your hosts hosting it even if they didn't make an appearance. Now, at least the Queen had been able to talk with many of you in public. Surely this sign of goodwill as Halloween quickly approaches will last throughout the weekend.

Neither the threat of memories or the promise of a wish could shake such new goodwill, could it?

[Obviously, Seven had to check the number of knives. How many are there? Could he round it up to ten?]

[Then that meant Lena's little joke was still a joke...

This must have been a trap set up in the pit, waiting for someone to get pushed in.

Does it look like Neku struggled at all?]

[Not at all. There's even music playing from his headphones.

There's a lot of damage to the body, though. Do you want to...try to get in the pit or pull him up for a closer look?]

[He might as well, no matter how dangerous it was...

He reached in and gently pulled the body out before laying it beside the pit. He might have torn his sleeve on one of the stray knives in this makeshift trap...]

[Thankfully, you have long enough arms that you can get him out without too much trouble. ...Even if there's probably like a knife or two still in him.

He stares up at Seven as he's dragged up, though. He was face up in the pit. There's a lot to explore here. Where do you want to start?]

There doesn't feel like there's much else to investigate but he's going to check Neku's pockets to see if he had anything with him at the time of death.]

[Nothing in his pockets but he's wearing some neat looking pins.]

[He didn't struggle at all, but there was blood leading from here to the Lion's Cove. He'll have to check in on the others about Lena's condition.

But he's making theories. None of which are really making complete sense in his mind...]

How many of the knives got Neku, where did they get him, and how deep did they go?]

[Okay, there's a few knife wounds. I'm just going to list them:

- One up through his left cheek.
- One through right bicep.
- One through right hand. His middle and ring finger are severed and are still in the pit.
- Two through his left thigh.
-One through right leg at the ankle.

This is messy. Also, now that you're looking for wounds... Neku has a head wound but it sure doesn't look like the others.]

[There's a hole above both of his ears. One's a little lower than the other one. Also it looks like his headphones are nicked and bloody but still working.]

[There might be something that's visible in the pit that might help you confirm that.]

[He looked right into the pit again trying not to pay attention to the severed fingers.]

[Before I get to what he saw; to make sure I get things right. There was some light bruising on Neku's arms as well. Not enough to say he struggled against the knives, though.

But for the pit? There's a piece of paper and a GUN.]

He's going to reach in and try and take them out. CAREFULLY.

What does the paper say and is the gun still loaded?]

[The paper has a drawing on it. It looks like this. It's really bloody (that's the red stuff in the picture) so half is obscured.

As for the gun? Well, the entire pit is bloody. Not as bloody as you might have expected but still bloody. So, it's weird that the gun isn't bloody. There's three bullets still in it.

There's also torn up bed sheet in the pit that wasn't obvious because of the darkness. The question is where is the bullet?]

[Obtained bed sheet! You probably are going to dig a little in the knives a little but you have long arms, Seven. Eventually you'll probably find a bullet in there.

Sucks that someone snuffed out a lot of the candles in the cave otherwise this would have been much faster.]
