There were no punishments this week though some uncovered secrets might have hurt just as hard. Everyone's been in the castle for over a month and bonds have been forged. As Friday dawns, there's a faint hope that maybe nothing will go wrong again.

It's time to gather your courage and your wits as you see if anyone decided to kill once more.

The arm she apparently spotted up in body hunt will be more important than the books, so Oriko will hop in the water and wade over that way.]

This time it's not at the bottom of the Cove! You'll need to swim a little but it's not too far this time. You found Alice's right arm!]

[There's probably no need to hold this as cautiously in her sleeve as she did the amulet, but still... Oriko handles this one with care as she swims it back out of the water.

Are there any injuries on the arm? Why is this arm not attached to Alice?]

[Apart from the clean cut near where her shoulder would have been? You can't really tell.]

[So just a severed arm then. That's a thing that's normal to be holding.

Since it's porcelain she sets it down very gently somewhere safe on shore. What is...this book situation looking like? Can she recover any or all of them?]

[It'd take a while! There's a lot more than one person could carry out here in one go.]

[Hopefully someone comes along to help with water recovery then...she isn't really wearing clothes that are great for swimming and it seems silly to change now.

But Oriko will pick up a handful at a time and bring them out, a few times over. Does anything seem important about the books, their subjects, if they're still legible?]

[Nope, nothing out of the ordinary here. Just a lot of children literature.]

[It'll take her a while to pull them all out, if she even can, so before Oriko commits to that, it's probably a good idea to look for anything else that's out of the ordinary around here.

Is the Cove area otherwise clear?]

[There's a footprint leading to the pirate playground!]

[Let's get a closer look at said footprint since the area itself is clear. What size is it? Is it just an indentation or are there stains/debris around it?]

[It's dry now but it's a slight imprint from a small-sized shoe.]
