WEEK 6

Only one of your group died last week but the castle feels empty somehow. Whatever your thoughts on Alice were she did seem to curb the Cat's--no, the Storyteller's--impulses somewhat. Even if the Storyteller gave an end date for the game there seems to be a sinister air around the castle now. There's an area for the adventurous, at least?

Still, it likely won't help heal the wounds from last week... though, apparently, the Storyteller has decided to refill the library.

Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday

[Hello to week six, the last normal week before endgame! Don't forget to lose a memory. There's no AC this week! You can find the Storyteller at the audience chamber if you really want. As always you can turn in your threads for fabulous prizes!]

That definitely sounds like the person I met in the hall of mirrors yesterday. She kept asking about things like that and she tried to reach out from one of the mirrors.

[She's honestly a little miffed about that. She's supposed to be able to go through mirrors!]

She went away when she found out I didn't know what a prom queen was.

She... She's HERE? But this isn't a high school!!
strictura: (all of those french films about trains)

Maybe it's "can't leave the high school except via shiny surfaces."
battlestations: (and if it means I must prepare)

That's a pretty big loophole if so! I mean, she was still able to make a grab at DD...

I don't know, I was already thinking it sounded like a loophole from that description. Maybe she can't fully leave those shiny surfaces, though -- like she can reach an arm out, but can't actually step out all the way?

That just makes me wonder how far she can get...

She wouldn't have to get very far to pull someone else in, if they were right up against the mirror.

And then... what? She takes them to the high school?

If she can't leave the school, then yeah. That's what I would do, anyway.
battlestations: (I don't wanna go to school)

[personal profile] battlestations 2020-11-13 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
....Did you do this sort of thing back home?

...I don't know.

[Stupid memory loss.]

I'm pretty sure it's something I could have done, though.
battlestations: (you've let the wrong word slip)

[personal profile] battlestations 2020-11-13 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
I guess that makes sense.

[She would run out of memories pretty fast with her true age, huh.]

Or maybe she isn't really here. I could only see the part of her that came out through the mirror.

That sounds confusing...

Think of it like the mirror is the door to your bedroom. You can reach out into the hall without leaving your room.

[So, what Nagisa said.]
strictura: (and maybe it's wise)

[ Nods. That's a surprisingly reasonable and understandable way of putting it. ]
