After last Friday's horrific discovery, the march toward the weekend must be filled with dread for some of Ira Academy's students. This week, the Principal's tailored threats became even more personal. Tuesday's motive announcement received a more noticeable reception across several members of the student body. In most cases, this would be a blessing: Good children care about protecting their loved ones.

Now, however, it's a threat. Someone with loved ones to protect might have felt there was nothing left to lose--except, perhaps, another classmate. Despite the lack of a real sun (or, truly, any genuine weather outside at all) the morning is a gloomy, cursed one. For anyone feeling concerned about what might be waiting out there, it might be a little hard to emerge from the warm safety of bed. Others may have felt the oppressive fear on the other end of things, unable to fall into a true sleep and still wide awake come morning.

Will this Friday see a repeat of last week, gruesome and bloody early in the morning? Or has everyone chosen to wait out the danger, refusing to give in to their fears? There's only one way to find out.

[Well then. If there's nothing else inside the big paint can, then Adorabat will check how big the paint bucket is when compared to her standing on the ground. She may have found a potential murder weapon.]

[Actually, now that you think about it... this bucket doesn't seem to have been from the art room. It looks like it's too big to actually use for smaller projects.

[Yeah, there's no way she can bag this up with the bags she's got, so, uh... she'll- WAIT. Adorabat examines the sides and bottom for any dents or dings before just taking it and putting it... somewhere.

Sorry, Edward and Sonic, but she's a sheriff. This is an exception to the rules and if you two say otherwise, shut up.]

[It looks in fairly good shape, for a paint bucket, but there is a small dent on the side.]

[So Adorabat did indeed find the murder weapon. Hmm... With Yasu looking at the cleaned areas and Edward touching the body, Adorabat glances at the stool briefly before turning her attention upward. Is there anything suspicious about the upper portion of the room that would require the use of a stool for a non-flyer to get at?]

[Not that you can tell.]

[Hmm... Well, then the upper portion of the room appears to be irrelevant. Adorabat turns her attention back over to the stool. Are there any marks on it, including but not limited to paint?]

[Yes, there's some paint on the legs and feet of the stool coming from the direction where you found the bucket, from the workshop.]

[Hmm... from the workshop... Is the position of Thomasin's body as if it fell away from the workshop door?]

[Adorabat feels like that's all she could find right now. All to do is wait for the trial to happen, assuming the prissipull wants another one.]
