After last Friday's horrific discovery, the march toward the weekend must be filled with dread for some of Ira Academy's students. This week, the Principal's tailored threats became even more personal. Tuesday's motive announcement received a more noticeable reception across several members of the student body. In most cases, this would be a blessing: Good children care about protecting their loved ones.

Now, however, it's a threat. Someone with loved ones to protect might have felt there was nothing left to lose--except, perhaps, another classmate. Despite the lack of a real sun (or, truly, any genuine weather outside at all) the morning is a gloomy, cursed one. For anyone feeling concerned about what might be waiting out there, it might be a little hard to emerge from the warm safety of bed. Others may have felt the oppressive fear on the other end of things, unable to fall into a true sleep and still wide awake come morning.

Will this Friday see a repeat of last week, gruesome and bloody early in the morning? Or has everyone chosen to wait out the danger, refusing to give in to their fears? There's only one way to find out.

[The parcel is gone but these figures might need looking at in a minute since all that's in the folder is some pictures of a creepy black goat.]

In God's name...?

[She takes several steps back, as if the wardrobe's shadow somehow made the normal photos turn into dark ones of a goat. But no, it's literally a black goat. What. What!!!!!!

Okay. We've taken the step back. Let's look at the FIGURES.]

[It's just a Black Goat, alright, but about those figures... One is a four legged creature and the other is humanoid. The creature has long strands of goat hair stuck into it as well as several sharp straight pins.

The humanoid might need more inspection.]

[Squinting very hard. She was expecting Thomasin to have a little brother or something. Does that seem like a remotely plausible match for the human? What is the quality of these figures anyway, does it seem like there's any chance they were recently made in the art room? The goat hair does seem suspiciously realistic, but...]

[You can't tell who it is but there are some details about the figure that could influence your thoughts on the matter. The quality is pretty poor, it looks like someone melted some candles and squished them together.

The humanoid has a piece of red sewing thread wrapped around it's torso as well as some more tied around it's head. You can see a vague red splotch under the thread as if someone just poked a marker at it.]

[So the figure was poked first, underneath the thread? Hhhhhhhuh.

And when we call it a humanoid... we still most strongly suspect a normal human, not a being with a sorta human body plan? No quills or wings here?

But the nightstand had several candles all intact... Right? This is all so strange. Well, nightstand and bed and wardrobe seem to be the three identifiable areas of the room. Anything else?]

[I said poked but I meant drawn on but poorly, before the thread was put on. Just wanting to clarify that.

Also, yes. No quills or wings to suggest a non-human person.

It also contains some stubs and loose wicks, that I forgot to mention. One of the pictures of the goat was also torn up.]
