WEEK 2
The first week at the castle passes without any (recent) murders. Mysteries were found, questions asked, bonds formed, and Halloween celebrated. Now as Sunday 'dawns', you might feel your mind a little lighter as your first memories fade. Will this be just a week celebrating the (questionably) best thing about October or will more sinister things be afoot?
Either way, it looks like the Alices will continue their game.
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
[Hello, and welcome to week 2! Don't forget to submit your memory losses here and your activity here. If you want to ask or annoy the twins you can do so here. As always, don't forget to turn your threads in for 'fabulous prizes.]

...I found... something that might help a little with the memories.

You did? What is it?

...They won't do anything to your notes if you write stuff down. So if there's things you don't want to forget, you can write everything about it that you can and keep that instead.
[A pause, and he hangs his head.]
The memories themselves are still gone, though.

So you read through the things you'd written down and found one you didn't recognize anymore?
no subject
["Again," because, well.]
But this time I wrote a bunch about them. So I can at least read about what they were like, and how they looked, things like that.

Ah... Well, that was a good idea. It's lucky that they did take one of the things you had written down, too, so we'd have proof that it worked. It might also be evidence that they have a preference for more important memories, even if we probably all expected that.

[He's not sure what to think about being right, though.]

[Nigel's eyes go wide for a second and he starts flipping agitatedly through his notes.]
Ugh! What an oversight!
[Looks like they forgot the same thing :')]

So it seems.
[Nigel huffs, putting the notes down. He did write one thing about his dad, even if it... has nothing to do with him as a dad, really.]
...But, perhaps it's better this way. I wasn't ever going to see him again, regardless.

[His voice shakes a little at the end, but he takes in a breath to steel himself.]
I wrote a bunch of other things down, too, but I think I'll keep writing down everything I can think of. Just... in case something happens.

[That seems to be a real question, directed more-or-less at Allen himself. She doesn't ask to see his notes, but she still seems sunk in thought about them at least to some extent.]

[All sympathetically, she gives him a small smile, though it’s more of a reassuring movement than an actual bright expression.]
You’ve lost your memories before, you’ve been bullied by the Alice stories before... Mmm, if there’s a way to mess with time in the castle that the Alices haven’t thought of, and a way to write things down, maybe there’s a way to get things back, too?
By ourselves, I mean...
[Optimism, maybe.]

[She's quiet for a moment; those sure are memories they've seen.
But she starts again, because sometimes you've got to see the story through to the end...?]
Maybe there's a meaning to the things we have with us and the things we're given, too.
