WEEK 2

The first week at the castle passes without any (recent) murders. Mysteries were found, questions asked, bonds formed, and Halloween celebrated. Now as Sunday 'dawns', you might feel your mind a little lighter as your first memories fade. Will this be just a week celebrating the (questionably) best thing about October or will more sinister things be afoot?

Either way, it looks like the Alices will continue their game.

I think the Halloween part is incidental to everything else that's going on, at least.

Is it, though? This whole setup is about... imaginations, or whatever.

I think so? I would have expected them to have the Halloween decorations up the whole time if that was supposed to be a part of the theme... I can't really be sure, though, I guess.

I was thinking more "things little kids are scared of" than the actual holiday. Sure is convenient timing, though.

It seems to be getting away from the Wonderland theme if we're getting into things like vampires, but I'm not sure how committed they are to it.

Well, the Wonderland theme is what the Alices are projecting, right? If this place existed before them, there's probably stuff their aesthetic can't get rid of.

I just meant in terms of the Halloween decorations, but that's right, it didn't sound like the Cat had any influence over things outside of the castle. It sounded like she'd had a hard time setting it up.

[undershadow]

Maybe that's why Alice Classic is zonked out all the time. Making this place would be hard enough without keeping it going, unless they've got some kind of power source to tap into.

That could make sense... her summoning the Cat and keeping her here might take a lot of energy on its own even without the added efforts to maintain this place. Given what she's said about doctors and hospitals, she may not have had much to begin with.

Well, that sounds unsustainable and dangerous. [ ... ] And in-character.
