WEEK 2

[whimsicalism]

The first week at the castle passes without any (recent) murders. Mysteries were found, questions asked, bonds formed, and Halloween celebrated. Now as Sunday 'dawns', you might feel your mind a little lighter as your first memories fade. Will this be just a week celebrating the (questionably) best thing about October or will more sinister things be afoot?

Either way, it looks like the Alices will continue their game.

If the date Alice gave us is right I'm already 16- since that's not what my portrait says I'm guessing that's not how this works. From what I remember I should still have a few months.

... but I remember telling Franzika last week that it was summer vacation when I got snatched. So I have a pretty good idea of what hunk of time I lost over the weekend. If it WAS summer vacation then I have anywhere from a few weeks to a few days, depending in the date, since my birthday is the at the end of August.

Well, I haven't been thinking that way because it was Wednesday, November 6, 2019 when I was kidnapped. They'd definitely just put me down as 13.

Still, if it is 16 years, she's really cutting it down to the wire there...

It was already pretty clear that we didn't all come from the same point in time, so I don't think we should assume that the date here accurately reflects the passage of time between whenever we were brought here and now.

According to this calendar, my birthday should be next week, but since I was still several months away from it as of the last day I remember in my world, I'm not counting it as such.

Well, you'd only be turning 12, so you wouldn't have to worry about it yet.

Yes, but I'd still rather not make myself out to be any older than I actually am.

Ah... well this is supposed to be Wonderland, so why not have an Unbirthday? We could have cake.

[granted there's usually cake somewhere but. Listen. Even he wants to play with friends sometimes]

I guess we could technically have one of those for everyone on any day.

Yes. For everyone. That's why we'd still pick just one day if we did that.

[ He is really not a party person, but it makes some sense from a morale/teambuilding standpoint, he supposes. ]

...It probably wouldn't hurt to do more things as a full group outside of these meetings and events the Alices plan themselves.

Ah, it's actually almost a little exciting, like time travel. I mean, without all of the other stuff?

[She doesn't seem to be especially thrown off by having not-quite-traveled into the 90s. Or wherever the heck they are in the space-time continuum......]
