WEEK 2

The first week at the castle passes without any (recent) murders. Mysteries were found, questions asked, bonds formed, and Halloween celebrated. Now as Sunday 'dawns', you might feel your mind a little lighter as your first memories fade. Will this be just a week celebrating the (questionably) best thing about October or will more sinister things be afoot?

Either way, it looks like the Alices will continue their game.

Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday

[Hello, and welcome to week 2! Don't forget to submit your memory losses here and your activity here. If you want to ask or annoy the twins you can do so here. As always, don't forget to turn your threads in for 'fabulous prizes.]

Mm-hm.

[ Pigeon aboard her hand, she reaches out in the direction of the white hat. The bird hops from her hand with a flutter of its wings, apparently having decided that it's a comfortable place to roost. ]

That's right. A bird. Do you not have many of those where you come from?

[ A pigeon is a very basic bird, after all. ]

[Now several of Amdi are watching it closely, clearly fascinated. Hopefully the poor birb isn't too scared of doggos.]

Um, we do have birds, but I think they're in the forest mostly. I've only really lived at Hidden Island and Newcastle so I've just seen seabirds and meadow bobtails and froghens.

[ The bird is incredibly tame, as if it's been trained not to flee. Still, it's used to being surrounded by people, not other animals, and it sinks down into the hat, feathers puffing as it withdraws into its makeshift nest. ]

Hm, I see... Well, pigeons are really common in cities where I come from. But originally, they lived mostly in forests, mm-hm. [ ... ] I've never heard of a froghen, though...

[Amdi pulls back politely when he sees the bird puff up, not wanting to stress the critter too much, and most of him break off to finally look through Manaka's pile-o-stuff instead.]

Oh, froghens look a little bit like your pigeon, but way bigger. They're really fat and poofy and have big legs for jumping, but they're not very good flyers. People, um, mostly keep them for food.

[He pushes aside the stuffed bunny and the weird music doll and sees the two tape measures. He doesn't know what they are, but he knows the word "meter" and that immediately catches his full interest.]

What are those?
