The relative peace of this week has, in some ways, been a welcome reprieve from the past month and a half of terror. There's no escaping reality for that long, though. The swarm of dolls late on Tuesday night were a rude reawakening, serving as a reminder of the game that everyone is still playing, even if your host is quieter than normal.

By the time Friday rolls around, there's virtually nothing of Kakuya's presence remaining. Though Ira Academy has been alarmingly silent many mornings before, it's never been quite so...abandoned. The power in the building is struggling. Runner lights have come on to illuminate the flickering hallways in the event they're plunged into darkness (and every so often, they are). Looking out at the playground reveals it has fallen completely into an Autumn fog, the different play structures moving slightly on their own in the bitter wind. The Little Brother units have all been deactivated before they even had time to retreat to their normal closet hideaways. Their still figures linger around the school, unmoving, eyes dull.

With the loss of any other presence around, the students are completely alone, but there's no escaping the school itself just yet. On your morning wanderings, you'll find that a new area has opened up on the fifth floor. A wall, previously thought just to be a wall, opens up in the Little Fears room. A plaque on the newly opened door tells you clearly that you're not supposed to be here: Staff Only. If Nanami knew of this area she's long forgotten it.

This area has three smaller subsections - a large room with a heavy metal door, a fancy looking bedroom with adjoining office, and several spacious meeting rooms - just enough for a few of you to explore each. It's time to rely on one another and try to unravel the final questions of this school and this horrifying game.

SECURITY AREA - Group A

[A large room with a full screen of monitors showing various views of the academy. There's a side room with various filing cabinets.

Adorabat, Fret, and Anya this is your area. Why anyone let you here, I don't know, maybe you three sneaked in.]

[Anya stares up at the monitors, then glances to Fret and Adorabat.]

...Fret, go check filing cabinets.

[She herself is going to check the monitors!

She's not even going to try to direct Adorabat.]

[You can see many areas of the school on the various monitors. From the dorm hallway (though, luckily, the dorm rooms themselves seem to be without cameras), to the cafeteria, to the art room and swimming pool. You can rewind the footage a bit but only about a day. There's also a TV on a stand near the screens with a VCR which might be useful later.]

[Fret, the first cabinet you open is labeled (helpfully?) as MONSTERS (A-C). There are several others labeled Monsters, alphabetically on this side of the wall.

When grabbed at random, a file you pick out is labeled BLOOD SLIME, THE.

It includes a picture of a large blood-like creature found in an abandoned looking basement, surrounded by boxes and spider webs. It details that the monster's origin was that 'some foolish child decided they wanted an imaginary friend based on a cartoon character they liked' and 'the Blood Slime' was left in their childhood home when they moved out to the city for college like 'a proper adult, leaving childish things behind'.

Other notes include that the Blood Slime can consume many things but is repulsed by asparagus and other green veggies. A small handwritten note in Father's writing says 'If you have to, find this 'Slimy's 'friend'. We can use them to push the Slime into our little group if force is necessary.']

[Adorabat can't help but feel sorry for the sheep. They were good training buddies. When they reach the staff only door, Adorabat hovers outside of it.]

nnnnn... I don't think we have the jurisiction to go in...

We'll just tell them we have a warrant.

[-WAIT WAIT, HOLD ON.

Adorabat quickly takes out her notebook and writes down "WARINT MADE BY KAKOOYA", then tearing out the sheet.]

FATHER'S QUARTERS - Group B

[A very elegant bedroom, meant for a villain, is set up but it's looking a little... torn up? A personal office is set up next to it.

Kuro, Yasu, Rosalinda, and Nanami go here. Girls night!]

Hm hmm, we'll have to remember this place the next time we want to have a sleepover~

But. Though the personal office is likely the better source of information, there's just something so... tempting about rifling through Father's personal effects. Kuro is first going to look through any drawers—starting with a nightstand if she can find one, and then moving to any dressers that happen to be in the room. ]

Are you joking? This place is a mess... I feel like something bad happened in here.

[Here is your class Prefect, Kuro, who it seems will be seeing you all to the end of this... Albeit mostly in the form of peanut gallery commentary. If she needs to step in further to help the others out, she'll contribute to the rifling. Happy investigating!]

You ready, partner? [Yasu calls over her shoulder as she strolls into Father's bedroom, the hands she's stuffed into her hoodie's pockets balled into tight fists. Kuro is one of the only people in all of Ira Academy that might be able to recognize how brittle Yasu's bravado is at this moment.]

And, um. Lady Prefect. [...and how embarrassed she is about treating Nanami like she isn't there. Whoops.

Yasu is most interested in Father's office, gravitating there first. What's inside?]

[It looks like this area has been ransacked already. Things are in disarray, drawers pulled out. There seems to be a nightstand, yes, with spare pair of glasses laying on top that seem to have been untouched.

But what's more interesting to Kuro is... why are there pictures of men (and one teenager) you don't recognize stuck in here?]

MEETING ROOMS - Group C

[Two large meeting rooms, one room with a large table with many seats and the other with only seven greet you. Serious business must have went down here, once.

Sonic, Emma, Dewey, and Hunter you can have some serious business of your own.]

[Emma enters the seven-seated room, although she stays near the doorway to peer at the whole thing form outside first.]

Possibly... My question is, is that larger table for the Little Brothers? Or more "staff" we've never seen?

[Out of the two rooms, this is definitely the smaller of the two rooms but looks a bit more grand. Each seat is leather with a word stitched in gold on the back. The one at the head of the table--IRA--looks the comfiest.]

[Since Emma's got the smaller room taken care of, looking through the bigger room... there are some papers, yes! Profiles of prospective students. You don't recognize any of the names or pictures here but they all seem to be from a neighborhood called Apple Court.]
