WEEK 2
The first week at the castle passes without any (recent) murders. Mysteries were found, questions asked, bonds formed, and Halloween celebrated. Now as Sunday 'dawns', you might feel your mind a little lighter as your first memories fade. Will this be just a week celebrating the (questionably) best thing about October or will more sinister things be afoot?
Either way, it looks like the Alices will continue their game.
Sunday | Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday
[Hello, and welcome to week 2! Don't forget to submit your memory losses here and your activity here. If you want to ask or annoy the twins you can do so here. As always, don't forget to turn your threads in for 'fabulous prizes.]

vending machine popcorn
[Mizuki shuffles over to reach into the container with one hand, the other dangling at her side. Dark circles under her eyes are fresh from Wednesday night.]

I hope it didn't get stale. It wasn't that long ago that I received it.
This is a sleepover, right: It's a chance for us to just be young girls and enjoy the moment.

[...the rush of salt isn't doing anything. Maybe she needs soda.]
Never been to a sleepover this big. Nice chance to make bigger teams for pillow fights.

[Her reference pool for sleepovers, is, in fact, in the single digits. Eyebrows drawing together in concern, she watches Mizuki's zombie-like picking over of the snacks. That really is...a lot of carbs.]
... Are you sure staying up late watching horror movies with the rest of us is such a good idea, though? A pillow fight might be a good way to wear yourself out before bed.

[She sighs. Her feelings are ultimately more complicated than can be sublimated into the metaphor of diet and exercise.]
I keep thinking about what you said, about, like, cutting off the group's leg. In here are... we the torso? [Trying to laugh and make it into a joke, failing at mirth:] Maybe being in the middle of the body is why I have a stomachache.

I think you're just worried about what people may do to other people. Could it be you feel responsible? You've taken a lot of weight on your shoulders.

I guess it is like that. But it's not the first time I've felt that way. I'd rather feel guilty and try to do something, than feel guilty after doing nothing.

[Oriko seems moved by Mizuki's uncertainty, though her tone is a little...off? despite how sympathetic it seems. Even if she was too aggressive at the meeting, she's probably still committed to what she said.]
But I think...guilt will be a waste of your time. You can set an example for the others, try and get them to behave, but if you feel guilty about the situation in the first place then you'll always hesitate in your actions.

[This is at least giving Mizuki something to look up to. Rather literally.]
It's... Not like I can diet for anyone else. You might be on the harsh side of things, but it makes sense!
